Hug the Ground with Your Putter

Make more putts with this technique

A key to good consistent putting is striking the ball with a solid down the line stroke. One way the putter gets off line is to raise it too far off the ground. The putter should be held low to the ground. Raising the putter in the air doubles chance for error in the putting stroke. This can casue the player to put unecessary spin on the ball which will cause sidespin that keeps the ball out of the hole even if it hits the edges of the cup.
