Choose Wisely

Use the whole tee-box when teeing off

Do you just walk up to the tee-box and place your ball directly between the tee markers? You may be putting yourself at an immediate disadvantage.

The rules of golf allow for you to tee off anywhere between the tee markers and two club lengths behind the front of those markers. Often times the ground will be chewed up with divots and uneven ground directly between the markers. By utilizing the full area you can almost always find the perfect teeing area.

Use the tee-box to your adavantage. If you fade or slice the ball tee up towards the right side of the tee-box. This will allow more room for your slice. Do the opposite if you draw or hook the ball.

Use this simple tip and you will increase the chances of a better score.
